Kristian Bezuidenhout is a guest professor at the Schola Cantorum in Basel and the Eastman School of Music, and an Artistic Advisor for the Constellation Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Performer Biography
Kristian Bezuidenhout, born in South Africa in 1979, gained international recognition at age 21 by winning the first prize and audience prize at the Bruges Fortepiano Competition.
Instruments
The fortepiano used for this recording is tuned to an unequal temperament at A = 430, a historical tuning system.
