Adam Fischer has recorded the complete symphonies of Joseph Haydn with the Austro-Hungarian Haydn Orchestra in the authentic Haydn Hall of the Esterházy Palace in Eisenstadt.

Mozart's Symphony K 543 is notable for being written without oboes, instead featuring two clarinets that playfully move through its four movements.
Historical Context
The clarinet, while experimented with around 1700, did not gain a fixed place in the symphony orchestra for almost 100 years.

Mozart was inspired by the clarinet playing of Anton Stadler, a virtuoso clarinettist and friend, to write a succession of works that have never been surpassed.
