Nikolai Demidenko, the pianist on this recording, studied with Dmitri Bashkirov at the Moscow Conservatoire and won medals at the 1976 Concours International de Montreal and the 1978 Tchaikovsky International Competition.

Performer Biography
Nikolai Demidenko made his British debut in 1985 with the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra and has been on the staff of the Yehudi Menuhin School since 1990.
