The album is the final result of the 'Nowowiejski Decoded' project, which included publishing scores and orchestra materials for three small symphonic forms, and a monographic concert.

Nowowiejski studied composition in Max Bruch's master class at the Königliche Akademie der Künste in Berlin, making significant progress under his tutelage.

Feliks Nowowiejski, a Polish composer, was born in 1877 in Wartenburg, a town in the Warmia region which was then part of unified Germany.

Historical Context

Polish composers active during the Partitions (1795-1918) faced a socio-political mission, where their works were expected to bolster national spirit without offending censors.
