The Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Radio, formerly the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra, was founded in 1930 and was the official orchestra of the Soviet Radio Network until its dissolution.
Compositional Technique
The orchestration of Alla Pavlova's Fifth Symphony is lighter and simpler than her previous symphonies, with only horns as brass instruments, less percussion, and a foundation of strings.

This album was recorded at Studio 5 of the Russian State TV & Radio Company Kultura, Moscow, from June 18th to 21st, 2006.
