Kateryna Titova, the pianist, has won first or second prizes at twenty international piano competitions, including the Alicia de Larrocha Competition and the International Russian Music Piano Competition.

The album is dedicated to Kateryna Titova's friend and principal teacher, Igor Blagodatov, a pupil of Jacob Milstein and a leading exponent of the Russian piano school, who passed away in 2016.

Kateryna Titova began playing piano at age five and studied at prestigious institutions in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, and Italy, including the Tchaikovsky Central Music School in Moscow.
