The music in Tipping Points is designed to hold the 'darker matter' of the poems within its harmonic world, creating a symbiotic relationship between the two.

The work Tipping Points explores the classical elements of Earth, Water, Air, and Fire, as defined by Aristotle, to understand change and interconnectedness.

The creators of Tipping Points aimed to acknowledge the climate crisis's realities while using poetry and music to inspire hope and imaginative agency, rather than creating a 'climate Jeremiad'.

Performer Biography
Niklas Liepe, the violinist, founded his own festival in Hanover and received an Opus Klassik Award in 2021 for his album of Bach's Goldberg Variations arranged for violin and orchestra.
