Apotheosis (1996) is a revision of the final movement from Rautavaara's Sixth Symphony (1992), which itself was a symphonic reworking of music from his opera Vincent.

Manhattan Trilogy (2004) was commissioned by the Juilliard Orchestra and premiered by them under Dennis Russell Davies in October 2005.
