CC Duo, consisting of Adam Cicchillitti and Steve Cowan, has won second (2023) and third (2021) prize at the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America's International Ensemble Competition.

The Re/String project began in 2019 after Canadian guitarists Adam Cicchillitti and Steve Cowan premiered nine new works for two guitars and electronics.
Compositional Technique
The pieces on this album, originally conceived for guitars and string orchestra, have evolved into chamber works that do not require a conductor.
