Performer Biography
Pianist Max Philip Klüser, born in 1994, initially studied trumpet and piano, but decided to focus exclusively on piano at the age of twenty and is now an internationally active concert pianist.
Compositional Technique
Franz Liszt, a composer featured on this album, significantly shaped the genre of musical transcriptions and sometimes anticipated Impressionism in his later works.
Interpretation
Pianist Max Philip Klüser experiments with the weighting of pieces, playing some very freely and others more structured and classical, to keep his working process fresh.
Performer Biography
Max Philip Klüser received a teaching position at the Robert-Schumann-Hochschule Düsseldorf in 2019, despite still being a student himself.
Performer Biography
Max Philip Klüser is also an enthusiastic chamber musician and has recently become increasingly involved in conducting, including assisting and conducting an opera production in 2018.
