Since 2000, Reiko Füting, the composer, has taught composition, music theory, and music history at Manhattan School of Music, where he is currently Dean of Academic Core and Head of Composition and Contemporary Performance.

Miranda Cuckson, a violinist featured on this album, made her Carnegie Hall debut playing Walter Piston's Violin Concerto No. 1 with the American Symphony Orchestra.
