Louis Dominique Roy, the composer and pianist, dedicated his transcription of Dietrich Buxtehude's Chaconne in E minor to his piano teacher, Helmut Blume.

The album was recorded in August 2020 at the concert hall of Domaine Forget in Saint-Irénée, Quebec, Canada.
Composer's Artistic Vision
Louis Dominique Roy, the composer, aimed to create an accessible Quebec vocal repertoire that highlights the texts of local poets, as he noticed few students performed Quebecois works.
