The RUNES project was conceived in late 2012 as a reunion project between composers Robert Dusek and Bryan Pezzone, 25 years after their last collaboration.

Robert Dusek, the composer, has received numerous awards for composition, including Columbia University's Bearns Prize and the ASCAP Raymond-Hubbard Award.
Performer Biography
Bryan Pezzone, the pianist on this album, is known for his versatility across classical, contemporary, jazz, and experimental genres, and has recorded for Warner Brothers and Disney cartoons.
Recording & Production
The album was recorded on June 3-4, 2013, at FTM Studios in Lakewood, Colorado, with Steve Sundberg as the recording engineer.
