Composer Biography
Sven-David Sandström, the composer, completed the piece rapidly despite being unwell, finishing it by April 2019, and passed away in June 2019.

This album is a live recording of performances from March 2024 at Berwaldhallen in Stockholm, captured by Swedish Radio P2.
Composition History
The idea for this project, combining a mixed choir, trombone, and vocals, originated from Danish choir leader Mogens Dahl, who contacted Nils Landgren in 2018.

The lyrics for the piece, curated by Jakob Holtze, combine texts from notable figures like Shakespeare, Lorca, Nietzsche, and Sandström himself.
Performer Biography
Nils Landgren, the trombonist and vocalist on this album, had a long-standing mutual appreciation for the composer Sven-David Sandström's work.
