For the song 'Du liebst mich nicht', violinist Charlotte Saluste-Bridoux uses a 'scordatura' tuning, lowering the G string to D sharp, to create a unique, raspier timbre between a violin and viola.

Charlotte Saluste-Bridoux, the violinist on this album, was the 2021 grand prizewinner of the Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) and Concert Artists Guild (New York) International Auditions.
Compositional Technique
The Rondo in B minor and the Fantasy in C major both incorporate elements of the 'style hongrois', a set of tropes associated with Romani music heard in imperial Vienna.
