Schubert's Piano Sonata No. 16 in A minor, D. 845, though his sixteenth piano sonata, was the first to be published during his lifetime, appearing in 1826.

This album was recorded in March 2016 at Saint Pierre Church in Paris, with Nicolas Bartholomée as artistic director and sound engineer.
