Compositional Technique
The third piece of Howard Ferguson's Three Sketches is based on a Hindu melody, 'Koyaliňya bole ambuvaň' (Cuckoos sing in the mango tree), and features constantly changing time signatures.

Performer Biography
Adam Walker, the flutist on this album, was appointed principal flute of the London Symphony Orchestra at the age of twenty-one in 2009.
