Maria Ioudenitch recorded the album on a 1691 Pietro Guarneri of Mantua violin, on a short-term loan from Reuning and Son's in Boston, which she found to have an incredibly beautiful and shapable sound.

Maria Ioudenitch, the violinist on this album, won first prizes in three major international violin competitions in 2021/22: the Ysaÿe, Tibor Varga, and Joachim International Competitions.
