Steve Elcock, the composer, is largely self-taught, having only an A Level in music and Grade 7 violin as his formal musical qualifications.

The executive producer, Martin Anderson of Toccata Classics, was "blown away" by Steve Elcock's music, calling it "fucking terrific" and some of the best orchestral music by a British composer in the past half-century.
