Stanislav Kochanovsky, the conductor on this album, will become the Chief Conductor of the NDR Radiophilharmonie starting in the 2024/25 season.

Rimsky-Korsakov conceived his Capriccio espagnol in 1887 as a distraction while orchestrating Borodin's opera Prince Igor.
