Sissi Makropoulou has won numerous prizes as a solo harpist, including the 5th Dutch Harp competition in 2007 and the Young Soloists competition in Athens in 2010.

Sissi Makropoulou performs on a Horngacher Zabaleta harp, which she acquired twelve years ago and considers one of the best harps she has ever played.

This album was recorded in the KulturKirche Nikodemus in Berlin on December 14, 2018, and May 28, 2019, with Philip Krause from Emil Berliner Studios as the recording producer and engineer.
