The collaboration between the Bang on a Can All-Stars and Terry Riley, as well as the commission and recording of 'Autodreamographical Tales', was made possible by grants from the Multi-Arts Production Fund and the Aaron Copland Fund Recording Program.
Compositional Technique
Bruce Gremo plays a Glissando Flute on the tracks 'Dwarf' and 'Black Woman', and a Shakuhachi, a Japanese end-blown flute, on 'Black Woman' and 'The Faquir'.
