The title of the suite, "The Art of Light Touches," was borrowed by Sergey Akhunov from the works of author Victor Pelevin, with the author's permission.

The composer's excitement for the suite's title and musical themes led him to also write a ballet with the same name, "The Art of Light Touches," for a large symphony orchestra.
