Composer Biography

Anton Bruckner was 48 years old when he completed his Third Symphony, having only become acquainted with the progressive music of his time, including Wagner, around his 40th birthday.

Recording & Production

Erwin Horn, born in 1940, created a large part of the organ transcriptions for Hansjörg Albrecht for this first complete recording of all Bruckner orchestral works on Oehms Classics.
