Composer Biography
Easdale studied composition with Cecil Armstrong Gibbs and Gordon Jacob, conducting with Malcolm Sargent, and organ with Arnold Goldsborough at the Royal College of Music.

Composer Biography
Brian Easdale, the composer, began improvising on piano at age five and composed short pieces with titles like 'The Pied Piper of Hamlin' and 'The Indian Temple' by age ten.
Composition History
Easdale's career as a film composer was launched when he was invited by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger (the Archers) to compose the entire score for their film 'Black Narcissus'.
Recording & Production

Performer Biography
Rumon Gamba, the conductor, was the first conducting student to receive the DipRAM at the Royal Academy of Music and won the Lloyds Bank BBC Young Musicians Conductors Workshop in 1998.
