Tom Poster, the pianist on this album, is also a composer and arranger whose works have been commissioned and recorded by artists including Yo-Yo Ma.

The recording includes a reconstruction by Tom Poster of an unpublished Introduction to Lili Boulanger's 'Cortège', transcribed by ear from an old 1930 recording.
