Ashley Solomon, the solo flutist, co-founded Florilegium in 1991 and has been its director since 2001.

Ashley Solomon is the Head of Historical Performance at London's Royal College of Music and was awarded a Personal Chair in 2014.
Performer Biography
Since 2003, Ashley Solomon has been working in Bolivia on baroque music archives from the Jesuit occupation, forming the Arakaendar Bolivia Choir and Baroque Orchestra.
