Dr. William Berz, the conductor of the Rutgers Wind Ensemble since 1992, also has extensive experience as an orchestral conductor, including with The Jupiter Symphony and Naumburg Orchestra in New York City.
Composition History
Jack Stamp's "Pastime" was inspired by a visit to Candlestick Park and the 1962 World Series between the Giants and the Yankees, incorporating veiled salutes to baseball events.

All works on this album were recorded in the Nicholas Music Center on the Douglass Campus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, across several sessions in 1999 and 2000.
