Composition History
Most of Federico Moreno Torroba's nearly one hundred works for the guitar, including ten concertos, were composed at the request of Andrés Segovia, a renowned classical guitarist, and later the Romeros, a famous guitar family.
Performer Biography
Vicente Coves, another guitarist on this album, began his musical studies with his brother, Manuel Coves, who is also the conductor for this recording, and has been a disciple of Pepe Romero since 1997.
