Jordi Masó, the pianist on this recording, has won numerous national and international competitions in Spain and has recorded over thirty discs, including complete piano works by Roberto Gerhard and Federic Mompou.
Composer Biography
Turina lived and studied in Paris between 1905 and 1913, where he was profoundly influenced by his piano studies with Maurice Moszkowski and composition with Vincent d'Indy at the Schola Cantorum.
