Susanne Fröhlich, the recorder player on this album, is a founding member of the recorder quartet QNG - Quartet New Generation and performs internationally as a soloist and in various ensembles.
Recording & Production
This album was recorded at Deutschlandfunk Kammermusiksaal in Cologne, Germany, across two sessions in May 2023 and January 2024.
Instruments
The Helder Evo recorders, used for three pieces on this album, are based on pure overtones, feature additional keys and a flexible block system, allowing for dynamic playing with varying windway widths.
