Composition History
Vaughan Williams' A Sea Symphony is an homage to the English late Romantic choral tradition of Elgar and Parry, while also being a forerunner to Benjamin Britten's Spring Symphony.

This album was recorded at the Poole Arts Centre, UK, between February 8th and 10th, 2002, with Tim Handley as producer and engineer.
