2024 Azrieli Music Prizes - Gala Concert

About this event

The Azrieli Foundation offers its 2024 Azrieli Music Prizes (AMP) Gala Concert, streamed from the Maison symphonique de Montréal, and featuring prize-winning works by AMP Laureates Josef Bardanashvili, Yair Klartag, Jordan Nobles and Juan Trigos. The Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, one of Canada’s leading ambassadors for symphonic music, and Chorus performs this quadruple-premiere concert under the direction of Andrew Megill, Conductor & Chorusmaster of the OSM Chorus.

Founded in 2014 by Sharon Azrieli for the Azrieli Foundation, the Azrieli Music Prizes (AMP) honour outstanding compositions through four prestigious awards: the Azrieli Prize for Jewish Music, and Commissions for Jewish, Canadian, and International Music. The biennial competition and Gala highlight the themes of Jewish music, cultural diversity, and Canadian identity.
