Gottlieb Wallisch's international career was launched in 1996 when he performed Beethoven's 'Emperor' Concerto with the Sinfonia Varsovia, directed by Yehudi Menuhin.

Gottlieb Wallisch, the pianist on this recording, made his debut in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein at the age of twelve.

Gottlieb Wallisch became the youngest professor at the Geneva University for Music in 2010 and was named professor of piano at the Berlin University of Arts in 2016.
