Airat Ichmouratov, a Muslim by birth, developed a taste for klezmer music while busking in the Montreal metro system and performs as a clarinettist for the ensemble Kleztory.

The cover artwork by Elena Chatokhina was commissioned by Airat Ichmouratov and inspired by images of the ruins of Fort Longueuil and the present-day Cathedral of Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue.
