Composer Biography
Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, whose Organ Sonata in B flat major is on this album, became familiar with Baroque music through family concerts and as a member of the Berlin Sing-Akademie.
Instruments
The BKM organ in Dunakeszi has a unique artistic concept where its main organ is housed in the swell box, and the selection of stops for its two manuals is unusual.

The BKM organ of St. Michael Church in Dunakeszi, built in 2010, contains 22 stops and a total of 1661 pipes.
Performer Biography
Miklós Teleki, the organ artist on this album, gives 80-90 concerts a year and has released eight CDs and a DVD.

Robert Schumann, composer of the 6 Fugues on B-A-C-H, viewed the fugue not as a strict form but as a means for compositional freedom, allowing his imagination to soar.

Charles-Marie Widor, composer of the Symphony No. 5, was born into a family of organ builders in Lyon and held the post of organist at Saint-Sulpice for 64 years.
