The members of Trio Les Esprits are graduates of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and studied chamber music with Vladimir Mendelssohn and Hatto Beyerle.
Composition History
Beethoven dedicated his Trios op. 70 to Countess Marie Erdödy, and despite a later quarrel, he did not change the dedication.
Performer Biography
The Trio Les Esprits, composed of pianist Adam Laloum, violinist Mi-Sa Yang, and cellist Victor Julien-Laferrière, formed in 2012 after their first concert together in 2009.

This album was recorded at Salle Gaveau in Paris between August 28 and 30, 2013.

Schumann admired Beethoven's sense of form and popular tone in chamber music, and built connections between Beethoven's work and his own.
