Arnon Erez, the pianist in Trio Shaham Erez Wallfisch, won first prize at the Munich ARD International Duo Competition in 1990 with violinist Hagai Shaham.

Raphael Wallfisch, the cellist in Trio Shaham Erez Wallfisch, was born into a family of distinguished musicians and won the Gaspar Cassado International Cello Competition in Florence at age twenty-four.

Hagai Shaham, the violinist in Trio Shaham Erez Wallfisch, is recognized as one of the most exciting Israeli violinists and is a professor at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University.
