Performer Biography
Marie Vermeulin has won several international piano competitions, including the 1st Prize at the Tournoi International de Musique (Italy, 2004) and 2nd Prizes at the Maria Canals (Barcelona, 2006) and Olivier Messiaen (Paris, 2007) competitions.

The recording was made in the Protestant Church of Bon Secours in Paris from December 11 to 14, 2018.

Clara Wieck, later Clara Schumann, met Robert Schumann when she was eight and he was seventeen, both living under the same roof as he took piano lessons from her father.
