Jakub Haufa, the violinist on this recording, has been concertmaster of the Sinfonia Varsovia since 2003 and plays a copy of the 1742 Guarneri 'del Gesù' 'Dushkin' violin.

The title of The Wave of the Surging Thoughts is inspired by Mao Zedong's poem "the heart tide surges high" (Bodhisattva Man - Yellow Crane Tower), conveying a magnificent meaning not limited by region or time.
