Performer Biography
Edward H. Tarr, one of the world's foremost trumpet soloists with over 100 recordings, has taught historical brass instruments since 1972 and directs the Bad Säckingen Trumpet Museum.

This recording is the first to assemble 24 natural trumpet players in one place, a number required for the monumental Sonata No. 54 from the Charamela real collection.
