Ernst Helmuth Flammer, born in 1949, studied mathematics, physics, music theory, musicology, art history, and philosophy, and wrote his dissertation on Luigi Nono and Hans Werner Henze.

Performer Biography

Simone Ehinger, the soprano saxophonist on this album, won four national first prizes in the 'Jugend musiziert' competition and has toured internationally with the Baden-Württemberg Symphonic Youth Wind Orchestra.

Recording & Production

This album features world premiere recordings of all three works: 'nach vorn II…', '… diskursiv - mit drängender Entgegnung', and 'Panoptikum - ein Klangmobil'.
