Stefan Kropfitsch, the cellist, has been head of the Institute for Strings at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts since 2006 and was featured in the James Bond film The Living Daylights.

Karl Fiorini, the composer, studied in Malta and London before settling in Paris, where he established the Valletta International Spring Orchestra Festival in 2007.
Performer Biography
Dimitri Ashkenazy, the clarinetist on this album, began playing piano at age six before switching to clarinet, and has performed with his father, Vladimir Ashkenazy.
