Bach's Inventions and Sinfonias originated from the "Klavierbüchlein für Wilhelm Friedemann Bach," which he began writing in 1720 for his 10-year-old son's education.

Pianist Hikari Fukuda, born in Okayama Prefecture in 1967, graduated from Kunitachi College of Music and completed postgraduate studies at Tokyo Gakugei University and Tokyo University of the Arts.

The piano used for this recording is a C. BECHSTEIN Model D-282, with a musical temperament set to "Bach's seal 1.0 by Y. Okamoto" at A=442Hz.
Performer Biography
Hikari Fukuda has consistently focused on J.S. Bach's keyboard works since her first recital in 1998, including "Bach Cycles" and a "Continued Bach Cycle."
