Linda Kouvaras, the composer, started her musical life as a pianist after being captivated by her elder half-sisters' playful interaction with a grand piano at age four.

Coady Green, the commissioning pianist and curator of this album, established the successful International Liszt Society Piano Prize in London.

Linda Kouvaras's musical language centers on postmodernist neo-tonal/neo-modal explorations, often influenced by popular music idioms and minimalism, with the human condition as a focal point.
