Performer Biography
Ukrainian violinist Natalia Gordeyeva had a successful career in Kyiv, including her own music academy for 10 years, before fleeing to Copenhagen after the war broke out.
Composition History
The composition "KYIV" was created as a cross-cultural collaboration between Danish composer Morten Jessen, who had never been to Ukraine, and Ukrainian refugee violinist Natalia Gordeyeva.
