Logroscino's Stabat Mater was composed in Palermo in 1760 and is one of the rare compositions by him to survive intact in an autograph manuscript.

Logroscino primarily composed comedies in Neapolitan dialect, with only three opere serie (serious operas) during a decade-long period in Naples.
