Sophie Rétaux won a First Prize at the International Organ Competition Nijmegen (Netherlands) in 1992 and a Second Prize at the International Organ Competition Toulouse (France) in 1996.
Instruments
The recording features the Cavaillé-Coll Organ of Saint-Omer Cathedral, a model of sonic refinement and splendour, built by the famous organ-builder Aristide Cavaillé-Coll.
Recording & Production
This album was recorded in August 2017 at the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Saint-Omer, using DPA and Sennheiser microphones with RME preamps.

Sophie Rétaux, the organist on this album, is the titular organist of the Aristide Cavaillé-Coll organ of the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Saint-Omer, France.
