Daryl Robinson, the organist on this album, won both First Prize and the Audience Prize in the 2012 American Guild of Organists National Competition in Organ Performance.

The album title, American Fantasia, references the Disney movie that introduced many to classical music, and reflects the free-formed, improvisatory, free-spirited nature of the music.
