Vasilije Mokranjac (1923-1984) tragically took his own life on May 27, 1984.
Composition History
After composing the Suite 'Fragments' in 1955-56, Mokranjac did not write any solo piano works for 17 years, focusing instead on symphonic, film, theatre, and radio works.
